Our story began in 1960 in Sestri Levante, a seaside town on the Italian Riviera where Luigi Panero opened a “gelateria” and so planted the seed that has grown into the brand known today as, “Amore”. Luigi dedicated the greater part of his life to innovating and creating excellent gelato . In 2006, he was awarded the prestigious honour of, “Gelatiere of the Year”, by the Association of Italian Gelatiere. His passion inspired his son-in-law, Costanzo Malatto to continue the tradition of innovation and quality who in turn won many prizes for his gelato.

In 2006, Costanzo brought his heritage and that of Luigi Panero to India by co-founding Amore Gelato.
